THE TRAIL

On the morning of Saturday, Sep 17 2022, around 1,000 trekkers will set off from scenic Bobbin Head in teams of 3 people or more. They will enjoy a route of breathtaking scenery, with 'fun stops' along the way, to a spectacular finish line overlooking Sydney's North Harbour.

This is not a relay.

Teams will take on the challenge in one go, together, with many walking through the night to cross the finish line.

Volunteers will be on hand to support trekkers at each of the 3 'fun stops' along the way, providing laughter and snacks, helping refill water bottles and cheering you on as your legs and feet become weary.

On event weekend you'll start your journey between 6.00am and 8.40am, depending on the start time your team is allocated. Cross the suspension bridge and take a moment to take a sweaty selfie, before you take on the longest section of the trail.

Distance: 11.2km

Cumulative distance: 31.5km

Depending on your speed, some teams will tackle this section of the trail in the dark. Be prepared with your headtorch and some layers to keep you warm as the sun goes down. If there has been recent rain, your feet might get wet with water across the trail. So plan for this with a fresh pair of socks - and revel in the knowledge you are more than half way!

On event weekend, this section closes at 9.00pm. Therefore, plan your trek to arrive at Fun Stop 2 well ahead of this time so you can rest and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Fun Stop 2 to Fun Stop 3: Davidson Park Picnic Ground to SOKOL Club
Distance: 8.5km

Cumulative distance: 40km

Your legs and feet will be starting to feel weary by this point!

Enjoy a warm meal at the SOKOL club (provided), and relax before you take on the last part of your epic adventure.
