Ask friends to sponsor you
Post updates from each of your training walks and ask friends and family to sponsor you.

Donate the cost of coffee
Ask your friends or family to give up takeaway coffee for a week and donate what they would have spent to your fundraising page. Easy!

Get social
People who use social media raise on average twice as much as other fundraisers! Share a link to your online fundraising page on all your social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn).

Follow-up
Even if you've asked before, people get busy and simply forget. You're doing something great for yourself, and for others, so don't hesitate to follow-up with people, and remind them to make a donation.
An easy way to remind people is by posting updates throughout the month.

Make it personal
People will donate because YOU are asking them to. So it's a great idea to write why you're supporting Camp Quality on your online fundraising page. You can also add an email signature to your personal email account to share your page with your friends, family and personal contacts.

Workplace-matched funding
Many workplaces offer matched-funding programs to their staff to encourage them to support charities. This means you can double the money you raise to support kids facing cancer! Speak to your HR or Corporate Social Responsibility department to find out.

Host an event
Whether you host a sausage sizzle in your own backyard, organise a trivia night, or ask your workmates to help you bake for a cupcake sale at the office, hosting an event is a great way to bring people together and raise money for a great cause!
