Lauren Kelly was a friend in my primary school class. She was 9 or 10 years old when she passed away from leukemia in 1999. I'm doing this in memory of her.Camp Quality are an amazing charity who provide free counselling, camps and activities for kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad. Every dollar I raise will fund their services and programs.
Every month, 64 kids are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. My goal is to walk 192km in September, 3km for each of them.
