When do I start?

Camp Quality’s Big Walk for Little Kids starts on Tuesday, September 1, and ends on Wednesday September 30, 2026.

Who can participate?

Camp Quality's Big Walk for Little Kids is a virtual walking challenge open to anyone and everyone, which suits all fitness levels! It’s an ideal ‘at home’ family challenge, an 'at work' team-building exercise, or a good excuse to get active, feel great and support an important cause.

Where do the funds I raise go?

The money you raise for Camp Quality will help over 15,000 registered kids benefit from our much-needed programs and sevices. For information on Camp Quality programs and services, visit:

What support will I receive from Camp Quality?

Once I’ve registered, what’s next?

After you register you will receive a confirmation email with login details for your online fundraising page and instructions on how to personalise it and share your page with friends. You’ll also receive our tips on how to upload your KMs on your page

TEAMS

How do I join a team?

Joining a team is easy! You can sign up as a team here and complete the details in the form.

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive your own fundraising page as well as a team fundraising page that you can share with family, friends or colleagues.

Every dollar you fundraise on your personal fundraising page will automatically roll up into the team fundraising total. 

Do teams have their own kilometre and fundraising goals?

When you set up or join a team, you'll be asked to set a team fundraising goal. The funds that individual team members raise will automatically roll into the team fundraising tally.

You do not need to set a kilometre goal for your team; kilometre goals only need to be set by individuals within the team. 

Do I set a km goal for my team page?

No need! Km goals are only set for your individual page. For team pages you only need to set a fundraising goal. 

How many people can I have in my team?

As many as you like! There is no limit. Walk with two friends or 20. The more the merrier!

I want to get my workplace involved. How can I do this?

Your workplace can get involved in Camp Quality's Big Walk for Little Kids by signing up here and setting up a team page.

Once you have a team page, you can share the link and ask your staff/ colleagues to join.

FITBIT, STRAVA & GARMIN

What steps/kms does my Fitbit record?

When using Fitbit you must ‘start’ an activity and save it. Your daily steps will not automatically add to your page. If you are having issues, try syncing through BOTH your Fitbit and the Fitbit app on your smartphone.

Why can't I see my kms even though I am synced with Strava/Fitbit/Garmin?

It can take approximately two-to-four days for your kms to sync to your profile.

Is there a Big Walk app to download?

There sure is! The Big Walk app is available on both Apple Play (iPhone) and Google Play (Android)

What can I do on the app?

Our FREE Big Walk for Little Kids app has everything you need to track your kilometres with ease.

Including features to:

- Log your kilometres throughout September
- Track your fitness and fundraising progress
- Unlock badges 
- Follow your progress on the leaderboards

Plus, your app progress automatically syncs to your Big Walk for Little Kids fundraising page. 

It's the best way to track your progress this September to support kids facing cancer!

Why am I still signed into my 2025 page?

To make sure you are signed into the correct event, please log out of your 2025 page and sign back in. This will sign you into the 2026 event :)

How do I change my km goal?

Changing your km goal is easy! 

  1. Log into your profile
  2. Click on 'My Page'
  3. Click on 'My Fitness Activity'
  4. Change Your Target distance and click on 'Save Changes'

How do I change my fundraising goal?

To change your fundraising goal: 

  1. Log into your profile
  2. Click on 'My Page'
  3. Click on ‘Edit My Page’
  4. Scroll down and change the ‘Fundraising Target’
  5. Click on 'Update Details'

I created two fundraising pages by mistake. How do I delete one?

We can remove the duplicate page for you. Simply email [email protected] with your page details.

How do I set up my online fundraising page?

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll automatically be given a personal fundraising page where you can update your profile with details about your Big Walk for Little Kids and share photos with your friends and family.

You can kickstart your fundraising by donating to your own page, as research shows that those who do this raise 1.5x more! Make sure you share the link on Facebook or Instagram so your friends know what you’re doing and can support you.

What is the link to my online fundraising page?

You would have received this link in your initial registration confirmation email, and it is also on your profile. If you can’t find it, please email [email protected].

Will donations on my Facebook Fundraiser show on my page?

Yes, your donations on your Facebook Fundraiser will show on your fundraising page as Facebook Donation. 

Are there any rules about fundraising I should know about?

Yes, there are rules to ensure your fundraising is compliant with local fundraising legislation in your state. Camp Quality is here to guide you through this to ensure your event is compliant. Once registered, you will receive an email from us with your Authority to Fundraise and Terms & Conditions to help with your compliance.

 

What are badges?

Once you register and have your online fundraising page, you will be able to earn and receive virtual badges to mark the completion of milestones on your Big Walk for Little Kids. Your badges are displayed on your online fundraising page. 

How do I change the profile picture on my page?

1. Log into your profile
2. Navigate to 'My Dashboard'
3. Click the yellow camera icon and upload image
4. Press save

DONATIONS

Are donations tax deductible?

Any donation over $2 is tax deductible. A receipt will be sent to the email address you provide when making a donation. 

Can donations be made by credit card or PayPal?

Yes! People are able to donate to your fundraisng page using either credit cards or PayPal. Once the donation has been made, the donor will appear at the bottom of your page (unless they choose to remain anonymous). They will receive an automatic receipt via email.

How do I upload 'offline' cash donations to my page?

If you’ve received cash and want to add it to your  page, all you have to do is:

1. Log in to your dashboard
2. Go to ‘My Donations’ and click ‘Add Offline Donation’
3. Fill in the details to issue a receipt to the individual/team who gave you the cash

How can I spread the word?

You can spread the word in multiple ways, such as sharing your page on social media, emailing, texting or giving your friends and family a call.

POSITIVITY POINTS

What are Positivity Points?

Positivity Points are a fun way to reward you for taking actions that help you raise more funds and make an even bigger impact for little kids facing cancer.

You'll earn points for completing actions on your dashboard, reaching milestones, and staying engaged throughout your Big Walk for Little Kids journey.
 

How do I earn Positivity Points?

You'll earn Positivity Points by completing a range of actions on your dashboard, including things like: 

One off actions: 

  • Reach your fundraising goal = 100 points 
  • Receive your first donation = 75 points 
  • Make a self-donation = 75 points 
  • Download the Big Walk app = 50 points 
  • Unlock your Smile badge = 50 points 
  • Log your first KM = 50 points 
  • Create a Facebook fundraiser = 50 points 
  • Create or join a team = 50 points 
  • Download your first resource = 30 points 
  • Update your page message: = 30 points 

Recurring actions: 

  • Share your page = 30 points (max 150 points)
  • Invite a friend = 30 points 
  • Receive a donation = 10 points 

There are plenty of opportunities to keep earning points throughout the challenge! 

What are the Positivity Point levels and rewards?

As you earn Positivity Points throughout your Big Walk for Little Kids journey, you'll unlock Levels that celebrate the positive actions you're taking to support kids facing cancer. 

Here's what you can unlock: 

  • Level 1: 250 Positivity Points 
    Unlock a special thank you video from one of our special Camp Quality kids, sharing the impact you're making for little kids and their families facing cancer. 
  • Level 2: 500 Positivity Points 
    Receive an exclusive 20% off Brooks Running discount code to help you go even further on your 64km journey. 
  • Level 3: 750 Positivity Points 
    Unlock your Positivity Pack, featuring Camp Quality merchandise, including a pair of socks and a cap.

Where can I see my Positivity Points?

You can track your Positivity Points straight from your Dashboard. Click here to login to your dashboard to see your total points, rewards unlocked, completed actions, and what you can do next to earn even more. 

Do Positivity Points affect my fundraising total?

No. Positivity Points don't replace or affect your fundraising; they're simply a fun way to reward the positive actions you take along your Big Walk journey. Your fundraising total and Positivity Points are tracked separately. 

What do I get for earning Positivity Points?

As you earn more Positivity Points, you’ll unlock 3 x Levels each with their own special reward: 

  • Level 1: 250 Positivity Points

Do I need to complete every action?

Not at all! Positivity Points are designed to motivate and inspire you, but you can complete as many or as few actions as you'd like.

Every positive action helps you get closer to your fundraising goal and 
creates an even bigger impact for kids facing cancer.
 

Can I earn points more than once?

Some actions can only be completed once, while others can be repeated throughout the challenge. For example, you can continue earning points as you receive donations or complete recurring actions such as sharing your page or inviting a friend via your dashboard. 

To view all single and recurring actions you can take, login to your dashboard and head to your ‘Positivity Points’ page. 

I've completed an action, but my points haven't updated.

Actions will take around 15 minutes to update and reflect your overall total. If your points haven't appeared after 24 hours, please contact the Big Walk for Little Kids team and we'll be happy to help. 

Can teams earn Positivity Points?

Positivity Points are earned individually, so every participant can celebrate their own progress. Team fundraising totals and team leaderboards remain separate. 

Why did you introduce Positivity Points?

We know that fundraising can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially if you're new to it. Positivity Points are designed to guide you through simple, proven fundraising actions that help you raise more money while making the experience more fun, rewarding, and motivating. 

Will my Positivity Points be reset each year?

Yes. Each Big Walk for Little Kids challenge starts fresh, giving everyone the opportunity to earn Positivity Points, unlock Impact Levels and climb the leaderboard from the beginning.

Can I get the funds I raise matched by my employer?

Yes! Don't be afraid to ask your employer to sponsor any donations raised by dollar matching! Let us know if you need help asking your workplace by emailing [email protected].

Can I sign up as a workplace?

Yes! Just register and create a team using your company or business name. Sign up as a team here

You can asign a team captain to keep track of who joins your team. If you want to make it private, just untick the 'public' box when registering.For help registering, email [email protected].

How can I get a Big Walk T-Shirt?

Once you have raised $72 on your Big Walk fundraising page, you will receive an email with a form to complete to receive your very own Big Walk for Little Kids T-shirt. 

AFTER YOUR BIG WALK

Can people still donate to my page after September?

Yes! Your profile will remain active until October 31, 2026.

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes, at the end of your Big Walk you will be emailed your very own certificate of participation.
