Support my Big Walk for Little Kids
Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.
This is Cooper he is one of my employees sons.
Cooper was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosone positive ALL at 5 years old. This is a rare genetic form of leukaemia. He became chemo resistant early on in his treatment and relapsed 3 times. On his 6th birthday he was approved for 2 months of immunotherepy closely followed with a bone marrow transplant in 2019 putting him into remission. During his treatment he had an allergic reaction leaving him fully paralysed and having to learn to walk again. Cooper is now 7 years post transplant and loving life. Camp Quality supported this family during treatment and they are lucky enough to still have regular contact and support from them.
This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.
Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
