Support my Big Walk for Little Kids

Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.

This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.

Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

As a mum, I couldn't think of a more heartbreaking situation for a kid or their families. The least we could do is create some smiles and lighten the mental burden for as much of their journey as possible.

Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

First day of the big walk for little kids!

For the first day of the challenge, I had a big day at work. Which doesnt happen too often these days, but I already totalled 12,500 steps walking through the bush today. Using my phone through the Samsung health app, those 12,500 steps apparently equals 9.5km. No wonder my feet hurt! And I think that is enough movement for me today 😅

So far, I have helped provide...

13 kids supported through a scary medical procedure by a Child Life Therapist.

10 kids filled with laughter from their hospital bed during a playdate with our puppets.

3 families to take a break from cancer and reconnect at a 5-day Family Retreat.
