Support my big walk for little kids
Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer. This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer. Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad. Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. The best way to finish off work before heading to the gym aswell! Here’s more on why I am participating in this cause 💁🏻♀️ I believe kids should get to be kids — even when cancer tries to take that away. As a nursing student, I’ve seen how illness can swallow a childhood from both a child/parent perspective. The hospital stays, the missed birthdays, the fear that moves in and doesn’t leave. ❤️🩹 September is also my birthday month, and this year I want to spend it differently — putting my energy into something bigger than myself, into helping others and pushing things forward instead of just marking another year. 🥹🎂 So I’m walking for the 64 Aussie families who hear this news every month, and for every little kid who deserves to just be a kid again. 💫🙏🏼So far, I have helped provide...
