This September I’m walking 64km for Dotty in Camp Quality’s Big Walk for Little Kids 💛
At just 2 years old, Dotty became exhausted, clingy and kept getting infections. Everyone thought it was just a stubborn bug… until one night she started vomiting blood. In the early hours of the morning her family found out she had acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Chemo started within minutes.
Childhood cancer doesn’t just affect the child it changes the whole family. But Camp Quality gave them laughter, friendship and a chance to just be a family again.
Dotty is still in treatment, but she’s also full of smiles and strength. I’m walking for her and for every one of the 64 little kids diagnosed with cancer in Australia every month.
Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.
This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.
Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
