Support my Big Walk for Little Kids
Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.
This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.
I’m also dedicating this walk to support my little brother, Samuel Abella, who bravely battled and overcame leukaemia. He was diagnosed at the age of 5, and was admitted to Westmead Childrens Hospital in June, 2018. I’m incredibly proud to say that I was a match for my brother and had the honour of donating my bone marrow to him. He is currently 13 years old and is very well and active in sports. He is in his first year of high school, enjoys cooking and is surrounded by many friends who share his interest in the NRL-he goes for the Bulldogs.
Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
