I’m taking part in the Camp Quality walk to raise money for something incredibly close to my heart, kids with cancer 💛
As a paediatric oncology nurse, I have the privilege of caring for some of the most bravest tiny humans. They show incredible strength and resilience through highly intense chemotherapy regimens and treatment courses, but the truth is, they shouldn’t have to be strong. They should just get to be kids.
A cancer diagnosis doesn’t just change a child’s life, it turns an entire family’s world upside down.
That’s why I love the work Camp Quality does. They give kids and families a much needed break from cancer; a chance to laugh, play, make memories and simply be a family again.
