I am cutting off my hair for kids cancer
A few weeks ago my best friend William was diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer). We have been friends and neighbors for seven years. We love making movies together, running around with walkie talkies and selling stuff. I was very upset when I heard my best friend had cancer.
I am cutting my hair short and donating it to show solidarity towards William. William loves his long hair and is so upset that he has to lose it because of chemotherapy, even though he is allowed to get an Anakin Skywalker wig.
I also want to raise money for those kids who do not get a chance to live a full life.
I am really excited to cut off my hair on the first day of International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month which is Friday 1 September.
I am fundraising for Camp Quality and it would be amazing if you could sponsor me! I chose Camp Quality because I love going on camps and doing fun stuff like ziplining, rock climbing and kayaking. Kids who are sick usually do not get the opportunity to do that, and I want to make sure they can!
