Students at Tamworth Public School held a wacky sock day for kids with cancer. Kids and teachers came dressed in their brightest and most unusual foot attire with some funky colours and fuzzy socks thrown into the mix. A gold coin donation from each student helped raise a whopping $1,064.
Camp Quality Primary School Education Program
Did you know that we also visit schools all over Australia as part of our Primary School Education Program? Cancer can be a hard thing to talk about and there are many common myths that surround it. Our travelling puppet show helps to break down barriers, debunk myths and show teachers and students how they can be more supportive and understanding. Watch this short video to see how it works. Maybe you’d like us to come to your school one day?
