Support my Big Walk for Little Kids

My name is Olive and I recently learned that every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.

This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.

Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

First walk!

Today I went for my first little big walk! I took my scooter because my legs are a bit little and get tired easily. Mummy and I walked through the park and some new backstreets and even we stopped at my school to pick up a new book from the Free Library! Thank you everyone for your donations, it makes me feel really special to be helping little kids like me who aren't as lucky as me.

Day 2!

Today Daddy and I walked 1.9kms, to my favourite Free Library (again!) and I found him a book about water because he loves the water. Thank you to everyone who has helped us so far!

Day 3!

Today, Mama and I rode to the shopping district! We got to see the little creek running with water because it's been raining this week. I like the creek. We rode past the airport and saw some helicopters and little planes getting a tan. And we even stopped at the toy shop because I earned 10 gold stars this week, so I got to get a little toy. I chose some slimy monsters!

So far, I have helped provide...

8 kids supported through a scary medical procedure by a Child Life Therapist.

6 kids filled with laughter from their hospital bed during a playdate with our puppets.

1 families to take a break from cancer and reconnect at a 5-day Family Retreat.
