I've joined Convoy Newcastle to help kids facing cancer

I will kick-start the drive as we travel a 38km loop around Newcastle and Maitland area on Sunday, 8 November 2026 to bring positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer.

Every month, 64 kids are diagnosed with a cancer.

For 40 years, Camp Quality has improved the quality of life for kids impacted by cancer, and their families.

Camp Quality's programs and services help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. They support kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling, parent, or carer, every step of the way.

Last year, Camp Quality supported 1 in 3 kids diagnosed with cancer. Their goal is to help them all!

Supporting Camp Quality Convoy for Kids 2026

In 2026, I'll be proudly taking part in the Camp Quality Convoy for Kids, and I'm asking for your support to help make a real difference in the lives of children facing cancer and their families.

Camp Quality is an incredible organisation that provides fun, laughter and much-needed support to children impacted by cancer. Through camps, family experiences, educational programs and ongoing support services, they help kids build resilience and create positive memories during some of life's toughest moments.

Being part of the Convoy for Kids is about much more than driving in a convoy—it's about coming together as a community to raise vital funds so Camp Quality can continue providing these life-changing programs.

I've set myself the goal of raising as much as possible before the event, and every donation, big or small, will help make a meaningful impact. Your generosity will help ensure that Camp Quality can continue bringing hope, happiness and support to children and families when they need it most.
