I’m fundraising to help Camp Quality
I’m fundraising to help Camp Quality support kids facing cancer. Because every day, two Aussie families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer.
This fundraiser is in memory of Piper Eve Hawley.
At just 8 years old, in early January 2018, Piper was diagnosed with DIPG. DIPG (Diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas) is an aggressive brain cancer that is difficult to treat. Piper family were then hit with the difficult news that they only had up to 12 months left with her.
Before Piper was able to undergo radiation, she tragically passed away on the 28th of January only two weeks after her initial diagnosis.
Piper was described by people close to her as a funny, kind, gentle and caring person. Her infectious smile never went unnoticed. She is deeply missed and those who were lucky enough to have met her will cherish their memories forever.
Camp Quality helped Piper and her family during her short, courageous battle and continued their support after Pipers passing.
As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Your brave and did your best, you grew your beautiful angel wings and we know ur watching over ur family and friends. They think about you daily they were so proud of you ❤️ From the moment I found out about childhood cancer 4 years ago I made it my priority that every September I wear gold (yellow) ribbons, I campaign for childhood cancer awareness month every year this year I will also be running a fundraiser and hopefully I can do it in honour of u beautiful angel 💕
