Support my Big Walk for Little Kids with Cancer
Every month, 64 Australian families receive the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.
This cause is especially close to my heart. I previously had the privilege of working in the Oncology Ward at Sydney Children’s Hospital, where I saw firsthand just how much courage these little kids and their families carry every single day. I witnessed the difficult days, the uncertainty and the challenges that no child or family should ever have to face — but I also saw how incredibly powerful the smallest moments of happiness, laughter and normality can be.
That experience has stayed with me, which is why this September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I’m taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to help bring some of that joy back into the lives of children and families impacted by cancer.
Every dollar I raise will support Camp Quality’s services and programs for children facing their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
For these kids, being able to laugh, play and simply feel like a kid again can mean so much. 💛
So I’ll be doing my BIG walk for all the little fighters I’ve had the privilege of caring for, for the families standing beside them, and for every child currently facing a cancer journey.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Together, we can help give these kids and their families a much-needed break from cancer and create more moments filled with laughter, happiness and hope.
As Camp Quality says, “laughter is the best medicine.” Let’s help spread as many smiles as we can. 💛
Thank you so much for your support!
