I’m fundraising to help Camp Quality

I’m fundraising to help Camp Quality support kids facing cancer. Because every day, two Aussie families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer.

Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Our services and programs are made specifically to help children 0 -15 who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum or dad.

It would be awesome if you could help too, by donating to help me reach my target.

As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Why?

Southside Uniting Church Tamworth is preparing well ahead to host its annual Women's Outreach High Tea. This year our dedicated fund-raising recipient is Camp Quality, an organisation dear to my heart.  

Over many decades my family and many of my friends have been involved with Camp Quality as camp directors, counsellors, puppeteers and, when, in August of 2022, my grandson was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, Camp Quality took on new meaning and a whole new dynamic for my family. Attending a Camp Quality brings joy and laughter and fun to a little person's world whose life has been turned upside down by their diagnosis and having to suffer through gruelling treatment. Attending a Camp Quality can bring light and life back into a child's life.

At our Tamworth Southside Uniting Church High Tea event to be held on September 20th, 2025, the founder of Camp Quality, Vera Entwistle, will be our guest speaker. Mark this in your diary and save the date as tickets are limited.
