Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.

Last year, my family got the news that my mum has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). We've been battling through treatment options for over a year now, and know well how hard it is going through the emotions, ups and downs, and hearing every bit of hard news along the way. Being positive plays a HUGE part, and being able to smile and still enjoy life during, and in between treatments, makes a BIG difference in the quality of someone's experience through this otherwise horrific time. I could not imagine how hard it would be to see your child go through this, as it's hard enough watching my mum.

This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.

Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Thank you so much!

So far, I have helped provide...

14 kids supported through a scary medical procedure by a Child Life Therapist.

11 kids filled with laughter from their hospital bed during a playdate with our puppets.

3 families to take a break from cancer and reconnect at a 5-day Family Retreat.
