Support my walk for Josie
Our darling girl Josephine was diagnosed with retinoblastoma when she was 5 months old. She endured 6 rounds of gruelling chemotherapy and treatments which left her unable to develop and play in the same way as other little babies her age. While the hard part of chemo feels like a bad dream, her story is still unfinished.
There is a lifelong road ahead for Josie and kids like her. She faces years of follow up including regular appointments, therapy and many general anaesthetics each year.
The impact of this dreadful disease will be lifelong and I want to have the chance to raise money for a charity that makes a real difference in the lives of children and their families facing difficult journeys.
Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.
This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.
Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.
