Here's to 64km for kids who deserve to just be kids.
This September, I'm taking on the Big Walk for Little Kids, walking 64km throughout Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds for Camp Quality.Every month, 64 Australian families receive the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer. That's why I'll be walking 64km to help bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer and to support their families through Camp Quality's incredible programs.
This cause has become incredibly close to my heart. Becoming an aunty has completely changed my life. My nieces and nephews have shown me a kind of love I never knew existed, and because of them, seeing children battle cancer now hits so much closer to home.
I've also been deeply inspired by a beautiful four-year-old little girl named Dotty, who is bravely facing leukemia. Watching the strength, courage and resilience that both Dottie and her mum show every single day has been nothing short of incredible. Their journey has reminded me how important it is to support families facing the unimaginable.
