TEAM LEVI

Our family have decided to help raise money for camp quality in their Big walk for little kids to give back even just a little to show our appreciation for the support Levi & our whole family has received from them aswell as so many other families going through this.

Since November 2024 when our son Levi was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) at 5 years old camp quality have been one of our most treasured organisations not only have they supported us with help financially and physiological but they have been there to give my son a childhood still while undergoing chemotherapy it has helped us connect with other families facing the same diagnosis and difficulties and continuing to show us all that we don’t have to be in this alone.

We would really love if you could join our team and walk with us to raise money for all the family’s Camp quality help.

Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.

This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.

Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Our Story

Hello my name is Bianca, my son Levi was diagnosed with High-Risk/B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in November 2024 at only 5 years old.

Levi was in kindergarten his first official year at school, he was a very energetic, full of life, loving little boy, he loved school and playing with his friends and playing junior rugby league.

In August 2024 Levi became ill with the mumps a viral infection that affects the glands which was concerning as he was fully vaccinated against that viral infection but as a mum of 3 I didn’t think much into it. The following weeks he kept getting sick and could not shake Rhinovirus, Levi would constant get leg and belly pains followed by massive clusters of unexplainable bruises kept showing up, as someone who suffered with anemia when I was a child I truthfully thought he was at worst low with his iron, and the pains were told that he was just a growing boy that is extremely active, after he spent the day at a friends party that night his pains were extreme so I took him for a general check up.

Monday 4th of November 2024 in the morning we had our general health check done at our family’s GP expecting to return the next day for results, but at 8:49pm I had a phone call directly from the Lavatory telling me to rush Levi to the hospital as his blood was showing leukaemia cells.

From that moment Levi showed us true dedication to giving us all the complete opposite in what we expected in his treatment he was so resilient and kept a smile on his face as much as he could undergoing treatment. And with that Levi finishes his treatment this year on 5th November.

To hear that your son has leukaemia and not knowing what the future holds in that moment is something I wish no other family would ever have to go through but thankfully every early on in our diagnosis camp quality have been there showing our family that we deserve to have fun and enjoy time with our family and soo many more families going through all types of cancer. I am so grateful for Camp Quality and all their support they have given.
