Giggle Day 2025

Support our schools Giggle Day for kids facing cancer

Our School has joined Camp Quality's Giggle Day to support kids facing cancer.

We will be sharing jokes and inspiring laughter to raise funds for Camp Quality services and programs to help children aged 0-15 years old who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

Along side schools across Australia, we are raising funds to help give Camp Quality families a chance to relax, unwind and make precious positive memories at one of their camps, fun days or family getaways.

Together, we change the cancer story for kids and their families. Please support our Giggle Day to give kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Thank you so much.

Let's Do This!

I am so excited to share this with our school community!

Next month, Attunga Public School will be welcoming the amazing Camp Quality Puppet Show. This engaging performance helps students understand the importance of kindness, empathy and inclusion. It reminds us that we never truly know what someone else may be experiencing, especially when it comes to illness or supporting a loved one who is unwell. It is such a powerful and meaningful message for our students.

To make the day even more special, we have decided to combine the visit with our very first Giggle Day. Students are invited to come dressed in bright, colourful out-of-uniform clothing and wear their silliest socks. We will enjoy a giggle assembly (and yes, as everyone knows, Mrs Makings is always ready with a dad joke or two!) along with the fantastic puppet show.

It is set to be a fun-filled day full of laughter, learning and kindness. We cannot wait!
