Support our big walk for little kids

Every month, 64 Australian families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer. This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I’m taking part in the Big Walk for Little Kids to help bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer. As a primary school teacher, I’m surrounded by healthy children who have the opportunity to learn, play, make friends, try new things and simply enjoy being kids. It truly breaks my heart to think about young children who are battling cancer and everything they and their families have to endure. Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality’s services and programs to support little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a family member. These programs give children the opportunity to create happy memories, share special moments with their families and experience moments of a more carefree childhood during what can be an incredibly difficult time.
