Support my Big Walk for Little Kids - Team Tommy
Every month, 64 Australian families receive the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer. In September 2023, we became one of those families.
Our son, Thomas (Tommy), was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive and incurable brain tumour with no effective treatment and no cure.
Tommy fought incredibly hard, showing extraordinary strength, determination, and courage for 10 months. Tragically, he passed away on 3 July 2024.

Tommy leaves behind his mums, his big brother Lachie, and his baby sister Boronia, whom he never had the chance to meet. Cancer takes so much from children and their families. It steals independence, childhoods, opportunities, and futures.
You never truly recover from the loss of a child, but you learn to cherish the memories. We hold close the moments we shared together: the adventures, the laughter, the fun, and the joy. Camp Quality helped make many of those precious memories possible.
Two years on, we continue the fight in honour of Tommy and every child impacted by cancer. This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in Big Walk for Little Kids to help bring fun, positivity, and laughter back into the lives of children facing cancer.
Camp Quality stood beside us during our darkest days. They gave our family laughter, special experiences, holidays, and memories that will last forever. We are eternally grateful and will continue supporting this incredible charity in honour of our beautiful boy. It is a legacy we hope will continue for a lifetime.
Every dollar I raise will help fund Camp Quality's services and programs, supporting children facing cancer as well as brothers, sisters, mums, dads, and caregivers navigating their own cancer journey.
