Teddy Bears helping to spread fun and laughter

Bathurst CWA is hosting a Teddy Bear Hospital fundraiser for Camp Quality NSW.

Camp Quality brings positivity and fun back into the lives of kids facing cancer and a chance to connect with peers in similar situations, enjoy new experiences, and develop important life skills. Siblings are welcomed and supported as well. Parents can feel at ease knowing medical volunteers are present and each child has a Camp Companion for personalized care.

It would be awesome if you could help too, by donating to helpus reach our target.

As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Thanks!

Staff at the CWA Teddy Bear Hospital are working hard to have our race team in top shape for the upcoming race. It requires a high level of fitness so they have had a thorough health check including hearing test, eyesight and paw check.
Bathurst Physiotherapy, a major sponsor, has run a series of tests to ensure they are up for the challenge.
Our team wouldnt here today without the assistance of SOS Phone & Computer Repairs Bathurst.

Very Important Bear to visit CWA Teddy Bear Hospital

Winnie the Pooh's Press Secretary has confirmed that Winnie the Pooh will be visiting the CWA Teddy Bear Hospital but denied rumours that it was due to eating too much honey.
When asked, Winnie the Pooh claimed he was just there for the honey and heard that the best honey west of the Blue Mountains, Bathurst Honey Co, was sponsoring the event and a range of honey treats would be available at the Teddy Bear Hospital kiosk.

Due to the recent outbreak of Bear Pox the CWA Teddy Bear Hospital has opened a Quarantine Ward. Bears who are otherwise healthy but waiting for vaccination will be allowed to stay. Careflight pilot bear, he's soon-to-be bride and their bridesmaid will be the first to be admitted.
