I’ve decided to Donate My 22nd Birthday to help Camp Quality
For my 22nd birthday, I’ve decided to Donate My Day to help Camp Quality support children with cancer. Every day, two Aussie families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer.
Helping support childhood cancer has always been something I have been passionate about, however it is time I take more action. On the 21st of April 2023, I lost my cousin Sai Pranav to cancer. Sai Pranav was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma. The tumours can be found anywhere in the body but often form in the arms, legs, chest or abdomen. For Sai, his tumour started in his leg and unfortunately spread to the rest of his body.
At only 11 years old his life was taken away from him. He did not deserve this and neither did his family. Sai was the most bubbly, caring and outgoing little boy. He never failed to put a smile on people's faces, even during his last days.
More than ever, Camp Quality need your help so we can try to bring back positivity, fun, light and laughter back into the lives of kids facing this deadly disease. Camp Quality is committed to reshaping the mindset of a generation and to creating a more resilient, informed and compassionate young- adult population through our in-hospital, at home, school and recreation programs.
