We're fundraising to help Camp Quality
Welcome to a unique charity event that beautifully blends technology and humanity - our “Shave Me the Data Centre Migration is done!” We celebrate the completion of a monumental tech project and the dedication and fun spirit that made it all possible.
Last year, two of our invaluable engineers, Pierre and Alan, embarked on a personal journey alongside our Data Centre Migration project. With a dash of humour and a great deal of commitment, they pledged not to trim their hair and beard until the final service was safely migrated. They have stood by their words, allowing their locks and whiskers to grow, symbolising the hard work and perseverance that went into the project.
Pierre, known now for his impressive head of hair, will return to his clean-shaven look, and Alan, who has been sporting a robust beard, will reveal the face hiding behind all that fuzz. They have embraced these transformations as a testament to the project's progress and success.
As we conclude the migration, we invite you to join us in the big shave-off! Each snip and trim will serve as a tribute to the sweat and hours poured into this migration. The funds raised during this event will go directly to our selected charities, making this celebration a way for our success to impact and uplift others.
Pierre and Alan's year-long commitment has reminded us of the fun and dedication inherent in our work. Honouring their feat, let's make a difference in the wider world. Donate generously and be a part of our joyous celebration and noble cause.
Remember, every donation is a tribute to the hard work of our team and support for those in need. So let's celebrate the success of our Data Centre Migration and turn our triumph into a beacon of hope for others. Join us for the big reveal and make a difference today!
Let's celebrate, donate and keep the spirit of giving alive!
This event will happen at the Brisbane office on the 16th at the EOFY Lunch.
This fundraising is to help Camp Quality support children facing cancer. Because every day, two Aussie families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer.
