The Australian Country Music Stars of Fame

The founder and President of The Australian Country Music Stars of Fame, PHIL MAHONEY, has supported Camp Quality since 1987.

Along with his wife Donna, Phil performed several children's stage shows for Camp Quality's holiday retreats held at Tocal Agricultural College in the late 80's and early 90's.

The Australian Country Music Stars of Fame honours our great past and present performers. The exhibition was created by Phil Mahoney when he was Centre Manager of Wallsend Plaza Shopping Centre from 1991 - 1996. Phil was subsequently awarded "The 1995 Australia Day Council Shopping Centre of the Year Award".

Past inductees include Slim Dusty, Chad Morgan, Jimmy Little, Jean Stafford and Reg Lindsay and many other country performers. Now in 2021, the exhibition moves online to this Facebook group.

We are fundraising to help Camp Quality support kids facing cancer. Because every day, two Aussie families are given the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer.

Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Our services and programs are made specifically to help children 0 -13 who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum or dad.

It would be awesome if you could help too, by donating to help us reach our target.

As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Thanks!

Phil and Justin Mahoney.
