Support my Big Walk for Little Kids

Every day, 2 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.

I've joined the Big Walk for Little Kids to support kids facing cancer.

I'm walking to raise funds for Camp Quality to support their services and programs to help children aged 0-15 years old who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

By creating positive memories, Camp Quality helps change the cancer story for kids and their families. Please support my walk to give kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Why camp quality?

Like literally every person my life has been touched by cancer. Not just a little but a lot.

I like to give back if I’m able hence donating if/when I can and to my own challenge. Why walking? Health and happiness being healthy makes me feel good and I believe in doing what makes you and your loved ones feel good and if I can give back at the same time, well that’s just even better than I could have hoped for! 

First day of the month

Today I started the month challenge of ‘running’ so to say! Clocking in 13,718 steps walking > 10km 

Felt good! The weather and sun! Sun protection was worn of course! I walked around my home suburb and headed out around different parts of my city that I don’t get to see often! Was really nice! 

Soaking in the City

Well, I just spent some time in Melbourne. A city I have never visited before and to get my Kms up I walked my way through different parts of the city! Found myself feeling great about it as I definitely would not have seen as much of the city if I had only driven or gotten public transportation everywhere! 

I also was able to spend some time advocating for this amazing cause during my time and that just made it feel all the more worth while!!
