All you have to do is commit to walking either 50km, 100km, or 150km for the month of September to join the challenge. Whether you walk around the block, on the treadmill, or on your way to work, sign up here to get started.

Camp Quality's Big Walk for Little Kids is a virtual walking challenge open to anyone and everyone, which suits all fitness levels! It’s an ideal ‘at home’ family challenge, an 'at work' team-building exercise, or a good excuse to get active, feel great and support an important cause.

What support will I receive from Camp Quality?

Our Big Walk for Little Kids team will be there to support you every step of the way with your fundraising. We will be there from the point of registration right through to the finish line, whether that be via email, phone or social media, we're here to help! 

Once I’ve registered, what’s next?

After you register you will receive a confirmation email with login details for your online fundraising page and instructions on how to personalise it and share your page with friends. You’ll also receive our tips on how to upload your KMs on your page


How do I join a team?

Joining a team is easy! You can sign up as a team here and complete the details in the form. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive your own fundraising page as well as a team fundraising page that you can share with family, friends or colleagues. Every dollar you fundraise on your personal fundraising page will automatically roll up into the team fundraising total. 

Do teams have their own kilometre and fundraising goals?

When you set up or join a team, you'll be asked to set a team fundraising goal. The funds that individual team members raise will automatically roll into the team fundraising tally.

You do not need to set a kilometre goal for your team; kilometre goals only need to be set by individuals within the team. 

How many people can I have in my team?

As many as you like! There is no limit. Walk with two friends or 20! 

I want to get my workplace involved. How can I do this?

Your workplace can get involved in Camp Quality's Big Walk for Little Kids by signing up here and setting up a team page. Once you have a team page, you can share the link and ask your staff to join. If you need assistance in setting up a team for your workplace, please email [email protected].


What steps/kms does my Fitbit record?

When using Fitbit you must ‘start’ an activity and save it. Your daily steps will not automatically add to your page. If you are having issues, try syncing through BOTH your Fitbit and the Fitbit app on your smartphone.

Why can't I see my kms even though I am synced with Strava/Fitbit/Garmin?

It can take approximately two-to-four days for your kms to sync to your profile.


Do I set a km goal for my team page?

No need! Km goals are only set for your individual page. For team pages you only need to set a fundraising goal. 

How do I change my km goal?

Changing your km goal is easy! 

  1. Log into your profile
  2. Click on 'My Page'
  3. Click on 'My Fitness Activity'
  4. Change Your Target distance and click on 'Save Changes'

How do I change my fundraising goal?

To change your fundraising goal: 

  1. Log into your profile
  2. Click on 'My Page'
  3. Click on ‘Edit My Page’
  4. Scroll down and change the ‘Fundraising Target’
  5. Click on 'Update Details'

I created two fundraising pages by mistake. How do I delete one?

We can remove the duplicate page for you. Simply email  [email protected] with your page details.

How do I set up my online fundraising page?

Once you’ve signed up, you’ll automatically be given a personal fundraising page where you can update your profile with details about your Big Walk for Little Kids and share photos with your friends and family.

You can kickstart your fundraising by donating to your own page, as research shows that those who do this raise 1.5x more! Make sure you share the link on Facebook or Instagram so your friends know what you’re doing and can support you.

What is the link to my online fundraising page?

You would have received this link in your initial registration confirmation email, and it is also on your profile. If you can’t find it, please email [email protected].

I have lost the login details for my online fundraising page.

I’ve raised funds on Facebook but they’re not showing up on my page!

Facebook donations are handled by a third party and unfortunately we can’t sync these donations with your personal fundraising page. This is due to limitations with Facebook Donate functionality. We advise you do not use the Facebook Donate button to raise funds, and suggest instead you share the link to your fundraising page on your social media pages (without using Facebook's button).

Are there any rules about fundraising I should know about?

Yes, there are rules to ensure your fundraising is compliant with local fundraising legislation in your state. Camp Quality is here to guide you through this to ensure your event is compliant. Once registered, you will receive an email from us with your Authority to Fundraise and Terms & Conditions to help with your compliance.


What are badges?

Once you register and have your online fundraising page, you will be able to earn and receive virtual badges to mark the completion of milestones on your Big Walk for Little Kids. Your badges are displayed on your online fundraising page. 

How do I change the profile picture on my page?

1. Log into your profile
2. Navigate to 'My Dashboard'
3. Click the yellow camera icon and upload image
4. Press save


Are there any tips and tricks for my fundraising?

How do I get my supporters to donate?

Check out our fundraising tips on the Big Walk for Little Kids page. Remember the more people you tell, the more likely they are to support you. Direct them to your fundraising page by emailing them the link or sharing your page on social media. 


Are donations tax deductible?

Any donation over $2 is tax deductible. A receipt will be sent to the email address you provide when making a donation. 

Can donations be made by credit card or PayPal?

Yes! People are able to donate to your fundraisng page using either credit cards or PayPal. Once the donation has been made, the donor will appear at the bottom of your page (unless they choose to remain anonymous). They will receive an automatic receipt via email.

How do I upload 'offline' cash donations to my page?

If you’ve received cash and want to add it to your  page, all you have to do is:

1. Log in to your dashboard
2. Go to ‘My Donations’ and click ‘Add Offline Donation’
3. Fill in the details to issue a receipt to the individual/team who gave you the cash

How can I spread the word?

You can spread the word in multiple ways, such as sharing your page on social media, emailing, texting or giving your friends and family a call.


Can I speak to someone about starting a corporate team?

Can I get the funds I raise matched by my employer?

Yes! Don't be afraid to ask your employer to sponsor any donations raised by dollar matching! Let us know if you need help asking your workplace by emailing [email protected].

Can I sign up as a workplace?

How can I get a Big Walk T-Shirt?

Once you have raised $120 on your Big Walk fundraising page, you will receive an email with a form to complete to receive your very own Big Walk for Little Kids T-shirt. 


Can people still donate to my page after September?

Yes! Your profile will remain active until October 31, 2023.

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes, at the end of your Big Walk you will be emailed your very own certificate of participation.
