Support my Big Walk for Little Kids
In 2015 when our daughter Charlotte was just 13 years old. Childhood cancer knocked on our door.
It’s not a knock that you ever want to receive as a parent.
The worst four words you could ever hear, “Your child has cancer”.
From that day on 2015 was a roller coaster ride for our family.
Charlotte was diagnosed with medulloblastoma a children’s brain cancer.
Camp quality provided us with hope that year. We attended a couple of their camps that provided fun activities and a break from the hospital. We did whale watching, went fishing, went on a cruise ship. The staff and volunteers are amazing and help the parents too. I even had a massage one year supplies by camp quality.
This year is our milestone year, 10 years cancer free for Charlotte.
If you can afford to donate even if it’s just $10 please do, it’s so worth it for the families.
Every day, 2 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.
This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in the Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.
Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quaity's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.
Thank you so much!
