By volunteering your time, you can help create a safe, welcoming and memorable day for runners, walkers, families and supporters. When and where is Run for Órla?

Run for Órla will be held on Sunday 15 November 2026 at Scarborough Beach Park, Scarborough QLD 4020. The 10km and 3km courses will take in the beautiful Scarborough foreshore and Moreton Bay waterfront.

When can I collect my race bib?

Optional race bib collection will be available from 2:00pm–5:00pm on Saturday 14 November, with the location to be confirmed.

Race bib collection will also open at 5:30am on Sunday. Please collect your bib before your race briefing.

What distances are available?

There will be a 10km run starting at 6:30am and a 3km run starting at 8:00am. 

Can I participate in both events?

Yes. You can enter both the 10km and 3km events, but you must register separately for each distance and change race bibs between races.

How much does registration cost?

10km entry is $55 Early Bird, $60 Standard or $65 Late Entry. The 3km is $30 Early Bird, $35 Standard or $40 Late Entry.

Early Bird pricing ends 30 September, Standard pricing runs from 1 October–1 November, and Late Entry pricing applies from 2–14 November. A payment processing fee will be added at checkout.

What happens after the races?

The community celebration continues with race presentations, a tribute to Órla, speeches, a raffle and Family Fun Day activities. There will also be refreshments, children’s activities, community stalls and space to gather and connect.

Is there a minimum age to participate?

Participants must be at least 12 years old to enter the 10km. The 3km is open to all ages, but children under 11 must participate with a responsible adult who is also registered.

How else can I support Run for Órla?

You can support the event by donating, fundraising, volunteering or becoming a sponsor. Every contribution helps celebrate Órla’s life and supports Camp Quality’s work with children and families facing cancer.
