Support my Big Walk for Little Kids

Every day, 2 Australian families are given the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer.

Sadly we were one of those families. On August 10 2018 we were given the heartbreaking news that our baby of just 14 months old had cancer. A stage 4 Wilms tumour which had metastasised to his lungs. Our world shattered into a million pieces, our lives changed forever. Our beautiful boy underwent 1 year of chemotherapy, 8 sessions of radiation, a right nephrectomy, multiple blood/platelet transfusions, chicken pox followed by shingles which almost cost him his life due to having no immune system, adeno virus, countless blood test s and hospital stays. Despite all of this - our Phoenix rose from the ashes and won his battle. He got to ring the bell and to this day is living his best life. The side effects are unknown but we take each day as they come. We were fortunate to experience camp quality twice and are forever grateful to the amazing volunteers who gave up their time to support a family like ours, to allow us an opportunity to be together as a family. 

This September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I'm taking part in the Big Walk for Little Kids to bring fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of little kids facing cancer.

Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quaity's services and programs to help little kids who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.

Please support my BIG walk to give little kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality "laughter is the best medicine", so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.
