Big walk for little kids like my daughter
Every day in Australia, two families hear the heartbreaking words: “your child has cancer.” We were one of them.
On 25th January 2020, our lives changed forever when my daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia at just 20 months old.
After years of treatment, my daughter is now in remission ? — but we know firsthand how tough the journey is, and how much support families need along the way.
Throughout it all, Camp Quality has been incredibly meaningful to us. Their programs brought laughter, joy and connection when life felt overwhelming. That’s why this September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I’m taking part in the Big Walk for Little Kids — to help give that same support to more families living with cancer.
Every dollar I raise will fund Camp Quality’s services, helping children impacted by cancer — whether it’s their own diagnosis, or that of a sibling or parent — to laugh, smile, and feel like kids again.
Camp Quality believes laughter is the best medicine — and with your support, we can spread that laughter far and wide.
