Support my big walk for little kids
This September I am walking 100km to raise funds for children affected by cancer. I chose to do this because I am a cancer survivor. I felt the effects of cancer and I look back now with it so many years behind me and can’t even imagine what it was like for my family. Camp Quality is an amazing organisation for those affected by cancer—the work they do is incredible. When I think back to when I was sick I am reminded of all the bad times but camp quality made it so there were also good times. While I was in hospital I was visited by puppets and people who wanted to do crafts with me. These things that seem so small mean the world to sick kids and their families. The support didn’t stop after I went into remission. We were invited to family getaways and fun days and of course me and my brothers were invited to their famous camps. These camps are memories I will cherish forever. Camp quality brought light to very dark days and that is why I’m walking 100kms for sick kids.This is crazy!
