I've joined Convoy Perth to help kids facing cancer
I will kick-start the drive from Perth Hockey Stadium on Sunday, 12th October 2025 to bring positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer.
Every month, 64 kids are diagnosed with a cancer.
For over 40 years, Camp Quality has improved the quality of life for kids impacted by cancer, and their families.
Camp Quality's programs and services help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. They support kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling, parent, or carer, every step of the way.
Last year, Camp Quality supported 1 in 3 kids diagnosed with cancer. Their goal is to help them all!

the reason why this is close to our hearts
12th of March 2021 Our 5 almost 6 year old daughter Harper was diagnosed with brain cancer an Ependymoma in her occipital lobe, 10 days after she underwent an 11 hour surgery which thankfully removed the whole tumour. The tumour was high grade, aggressive and fast growing almost the size of tennis ball! This was then followed by 33 rounds of intense radiation direct to her developing brain under a general anaesthetic each time. Unfortunately the tumour and removal caused some permanent damage to Harpers brain and she lost 90% of her vision in her left eye and has minimal in her right eye also, no peripheral, no depth perception and amongst some additional side effects! She is now a beautiful happy 10 year old, June this year marked Harper 4 years cancer free!
