Support my Big Walk for Little Kids
Imagine being told your child has cancer. Earth shattering. Your heart is ripped from your chest as you hear the news.
Now imagine watching their innocence and bliss get lost in the storm of appointments, treatments and hopsital visits. Life will never be the same again.
This is the reality for two Australian families each day. It’s a heart breaking statistic, but these are real people, not statistics. Real children who’s worlds are mercilessly torn apart by cancer.
That’s why organisations like Camp Quality exist. By creating positive memories, they help give kids and families the break they need.
This year, I’ve joined the Big Walk for Little Kids to raise funds for Camp Quality. I will be walking 150km and my fundraising goal is $1500. This will support their services and programs to help children who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone close to them.
