Our 4wd commodore upgrade

New all-terrain tyres and a suspension lift thanks to the legends at Bridgestone Tyre and Auto Nambour.  More chance of surviving the 8 days of dirt tracks now

Time for sponsor stickers

We have mandatory stickers and some theme stickers on the car and plenty of room for sponsors stickers now before we style it fully

Bash Plate fab and install successful

Fabricated our sump and transmission bash plate ready for the 2wd attempts at 4wd'n. Hopefully passes scrutineering and no last minute mods required for Escarpade take off

Lights are flashing with some hidden noise

Installed the mandatory amber flashing lights for all the dirt road travel and UHF plus a hidden noise maker for some entertainment

On with the rack and lights

Fitting of the roof rack to carry the spare tyres and fuel we will need for 8 days (fingers crossed) of 4wd'n in our 2wd commodore

We're fundraising because...

We're preparing for the open road, and taking part in esCarpade 2026 to bring positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer.

We will be taking part in a seven-day driving adventure from Sunshine Coast to Tweed Heads to raise awareness for Camp Quality.

Every month, 64 kids are diagnosed with a cancer.

For 40 years, Camp Quality has improved the quality of life for kids impacted by cancer, and their families.

Camp Quality's programs and services help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. They support kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis or the diagnosis of a sibling, parent, or carer every step of the way.

Last year, Camp Quality supported 1 in 3 kids diagnosed with cancer. Their goal is to help them all!
