Where is the event?

add remove

Drop From The Top is taking place at The Tops Conference centre in Stanwell Tops, NSW, approximately 50km south of Sydney CBD.  Nestled in lush bushland with breathtaking views of the ocean, The Tops is the perfect location to escape from the office and is also one of our favourite locations where we regularly host Camps for kids facing cancer.

By participating in Drop From The Top, you will get the right mix of fun, adventure, and challenge along with the chance to connect with some of our Camp Quality families.

There is no cost to register or to participate.  Camp Quality is covering all the event costs and have been offered some pro-bono support from the venue, The Tops Conference Centre, for which we are very grateful.

We do however ask all participants to pledge to raise $10,000 each, with all net proceeds directly supporting our services and programs so that more kids facing cancer get to go to Camp (or have access to another vital program or service to support them on their cancer journey).

Who can participate?

Safety

Is it safe? What insurance is in place?  What is the risk?

add remove

Camp Quality kids have been enjoying the Goliath Swing at Camp for over 20 years.  Since 2013, almost 60,000 people have “dropped from the top” and enjoyed the thrill of the Giant Swing at The Tops, where our event will be take place.

While no activity is entirely risk free, Camp Quality wouldn’t continue to offer this experience to our kids facing cancer, if we weren’t confident that every possible risk was mitigated.  The Acknowledge of Risk form which all participants will need to sign on event day at The Tops can be located here: https://thetops.com.au/resources/.

If you are concerned or have further questions, please contact [email protected]

What is the Giant Swing activity?

The Giant Swing is an adrenaline-pumping experience where you’re raised up to  18 meters in the air (your choice!) before pulling the latch to freefall and glide back and forth. It’s exhilarating, perfectly safe, and an unforgettable way to support kids facing cancer.
