Your support today will be matched, dollar for dollar, to help us send more kids and their families to camp this year.
This is Ruby’s story…
Ruby was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at just 7 months old, after her mum noticed her tummy felt different to her twin sister Tilda.
Ruby underwent four gruelling rounds of chemotherapy. The chemo drugs were so toxic that she and Tilda weren’t even allowed to play with each other, or share their toys.
Family Camps give kids facing cancer a chance to just be kids again. They give parents a safe place to relax and reconnect with their family, surrounded by people who truly understand what it’s like to have a child facing cancer.
"Family Camps are unforgettable. You can just switch off and have a great time and feel safe, knowing that you’ve got nurses and people who can play with the kids there. We made beautiful friends and memories and it feels safe and really nice being surrounded by people who understand your battles and your pain."
Lea, Ruby’s mum.
About Camp Quality
Camp Quality’s services and programs are created specifically to support children up to 15 years, who are dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, such as a brother, sister, mum, dad or carer.
By supporting kids and families through the cancer experience and creating positive memories, Camp Quality helps change the cancer story, in hospital, at home, at school and away from it all at one of our camps or retreats.
Camp Quality does not receive any regular government funding. Instead, we rely on the generosity of individuals like you to ensure we can continue to help the children and families, like Ned, and Scarlett who need us most. Click on the video to hear their story.
