Camp Quality Joke Submission Campaign 2026

    Terms and Conditions 

    1. Eligibility   

    i. Open to all participants involved in Camp Quality programs and activities. This includes children, parents, carers, volunteers, ambassadors and employees. 

    ii. Entries must be original jokes created by the participant.   

    iii. Group submissions are not permitted; each entry must be submitted individually.   

    iv. Eligibility for Minors: Participants under 18 years of age may contribute jokes, but entries must be submitted by a parent or guardian on their behalf. By submitting, the parent/guardian confirms they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and consent to the minor’s participation. 

    2. Submission Guidelines 

    i. Jokes must be submitted via the official online form, or through the Camp Quality joke sheet paper slip. 

    ii. Each participant may submit as many jokes as they wish.  

    iii. Jokes must be appropriate for a family‑friendly environment (jokes must not contain offensive, discriminatory, racist, sexist, harassing, bullying, violent, sexual or otherwise inappropriate content).   

    iv. Camp Quality reserves the right to reject or exclude any submission at its sole discretion. 

    v. By submitting, participants agree that their jokes may be published, displayed, edited, adapted or shared by or within Camp Quality, its authorised partners, publishers and third-party service providers, in relation to activities, events, publications, websites, social media, fundraising and promotional communications.   

    vi. By submitting, participants warrant that their jokes are original and do not infringe the copyright, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights of any person or organisation.

    3. Selection Process

    i. A panel of Camp Quality employees will review all submissions.   

    ii. Jokes chosen for inclusion in the project will be selected based on creativity, originality, and suitability for a family audience. 

    iii. Camp Quality may work with authorised publishing partners in the editing and selection of jokes for publication. Submitted jokes may be edited for clarity, length, tone or suitability. Final editorial decisions, including the selection of jokes for inclusion in the Camp Quality Joke Book, will be made by any authorised publishing partner in consultation with Camp Quality. 

    iv. The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding selection.   

    4. Competition

    i. All eligible jokes submitted during the project period will be entered into the competition. The deadline for submissions is 31st May 2026. Jokes can still be submitted after this date but will not be included as entries into the competition nor guarantee inclusion the Camp Quality Joke Book. 

    ii. The prize package will be awarded to the entrant who submits the best joke, determined by a panel of judges appointed by Camp Quality following the competition closing date, Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

    iii. The winner will be notified via email using the details provided in the entry form. 

    iv. The winner will receive: 

    • LEGO® Disney The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell (43225) 
    • LEGO® Iconic Chess Set (40174) 
    • A year’s supply of Arnott’s Premier Chocolate Chip Cookies, defined as 48 boxes (310g each) 
    v. All prizes are awarded as a single prize package. 

    vi. Postage within Australia is included. Camp Quality is not responsible for loss or damage to prizes in transit.  

    vii. Prizes are non‑transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.   

    viii. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, Camp Quality reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. 

    5. Rights and Permissions   

    i. By submitting a joke, participants grant Camp Quality a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence (with the right to sub-license to authorised third parties, including authorised publishers and distribution partners) to use, reproduce, publish, communicate, display, edit, adapt and share the joke in any format or medium for educational, promotional, fundraising, entertainment and commercial purposes, including in publications that may be made available for commercial sale. 

    ii. No royalties or compensation will be provided beyond any prize awarded as part of the competition.    

    iii. Participants consent to Camp Quality using the participant’s first name and age (where provided) in connection with publication of the joke, including printing these details alongside the joke in the Camp Quality Joke Book or related publications, which may be made available for commercial sale or distribution, unless the participant (or parent/guardian) requests otherwise. 

    iv. Camp Quality reserves the right, at its discretion, to withhold attribution of any submitted joke. 

    6. Privacy 

    i. Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with Camp Quality’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. 

    ii. Information will be used for the purpose of administering the project and competition and may be used for related Camp Quality communications unless the participant opts out. 

    7. General Conditions   

    i. Camp Quality reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any participant who submits content that breaches these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process. 

    ii. Camp Quality reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the project or competition at any time where reasonably necessary.   

    iii. Participation in the project constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.   

    iv. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
