Support our Big Walk for Little Kids
Imogen was diagnosed with Leukaemia a week after her pet dog passed away from cancer. The word ‘cancer’ was so frightening, and she felt so isolated as her treatment began.
The Camp Quality Puppets visited her school to dispel common cancer myths and explained to Imogen and her friends what cancer really is. All the kids at school now think Imogen is incredibly brave and everyone wants to be her friend and take care of her.
Imogen is currently finishing up her intense treatment and will soon be onto phase three, continuation treatment, for two more years.
Imogen and her Mum and Dad are walking so kids facing cancer like Imogen can return to school feeling supported.
