Support my Big Walk for Little Kids
Every day, 2 Australian families are given the news that their child has cancer.
I've joined the Big Walk for Little Kids to support kids facing cancer.
I'm walking to raise funds for Camp Quality to support their services and programs to help children aged 0-15 years old who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a brother, sister, mum or dad.
By creating positive memories, Camp Quality helps change the cancer story for kids and their families. Please support my walk to give kids and families the break from cancer they urgently need. As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.

Cancer touches us all
Cancer has touched our family in a big way this year. In June ‘22, after months of investigating what was slowing me down so much, I found out that the reason is stage 3 bowel cancer that I’ve been nurturing for 4 years. It’s been a journey and we’re very loved and supported, but above all, positive that this is going to change our lives forever, for the better!
As a part of my natural care & wellbeing, paired with my chemo, fitness is the biggest contributor to getting better.
Camp Quality has already gifted us amazing support and experiences and I’m raising money toward this phenomenal organisation. It’s the only support for children under 15 touched by cancer in SA. And we love their moto “Laughter is the Best Medicine” and although some days are easier to laugh than others, organisations and support services like this fill our hearts with hope for our little ones going through cancer.
So I’m pairing fundraising with fitness and walking 50km (or maybe more ?) throughout the month of September. Please consider donating to my cause and help so many others continue to get a good dose of laughter in their lives.

Stevi, Bronwyn told me your situation this morning. I was shocked due to your age and the fact that my wife had only worked with you a few months back. But this goes to show how fast things can change. My uncle ironically starts chemotherapy for Bowel cancer in the Uk tomorrow. He is the far more riper age of 62 however. I know cancer is always something that we feel happens to someone else. But it doesn’t. My family and friends have been ravaged by it over the years.
