Weekend drive in Star Wars 05
Myself & Nicole aren’t the only ones excited to start raising some funds for Camp Quality. Our dog Rockeby is also keen, he adores the Star Wars 05 car. Always asking to go out in a ride in it, smiling the whole time it’s great to watch.
Here is a photo from last weekend of us going for a ride, look at that face!
Time to raise some funds!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and a happy new year. The New Year is always a great time to reflect on the year just gone and to realise how fortunate we are.
Camp Quality focuses on families in WA who aren't as fortunate, specifically those with children impacted by cancer. Since 2017 I've been involved in Camp Qualities events and the Wescarpade event, to be able to spend months raising funds and then to be able to go out on the road and see the children and see how the funds help them is so very rewarding and there's nothing quite like it.
Myself (Gavin Billington) along with my partner Nicole Russell have put together Star Wars 05 which is a 1996 Holden Commodore dressed up with Star Wars graphics which the kids love. The car was brought up to speed thanks to the guys over at the Bunbury Mitsubishi workshop, with special thanks to Simon Teale & Michael King. The Commodore has never let us down and we can’t wait to get onto the road with it on the Wescarpade.
Nicole and Gavin would also like to make a special mention for Ashley and the team at Tint City Sign City for the great graphics on the car and there ongoing support as well as Lindsay from Bunbury 4x4.
This year I would like to raise even more money than previous years, all donations are hugely appreciated big or small. Everything is going to this great cause that really does make a difference, I can’t wait to get stuck into it, thank you!
We’re taking part in wesCarpade 2021!
wesCarpade is Western Australia's Happiest and Wackiest outback motoring adventure, raising funds for Camp Quality to help make a difference to kids that are impacted by cancer.
I’m taking part in the Camp Quality wesCarpade to helps make a difference to kids that are impacted by cancer.
Camp Quality is committed to reshaping the mindset of a generation and to creating a more resilient, informed and compassionate young-adult population through our in hospital, at home, in school and recreation programs.
It would be awesome if you could help too, by donating to help us reach our target.
As they say at Camp Quality “laughter is the best medicine”, so please give generously so we can spread those smiles far and wide.
Thank you to my supporters!
