Making a difference to a child with cancer

By Jasmine

I’m fundraising to help Camp Quality and donating my hair to Hair with Heart

Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am 11 years old. Several months ago I told my parents that I wanted to cut and donate my hair, while raising money for children impacted by cancer. Cancer is very common and affects many people. Although I love my long hair, I decided another young child needs it more than me.

I want to help make a difference to a child who has been diagnosed with cancer and may have lost their own hair. My goal is to fundraise $300 for Camp quality who support children aged 0-13 years old who have been impacted by cancer. Camp quality provides programs and services to develop life skills and strengthen the wellbeing of children growing up with cancer.  Once I raise $300, I will cut 43cm off my hair and donate it to Hair with Heart where the hair will be made into a wig for those who have lost their hair due to a medical condition, such as cancer.

Every child is beautiful in their own way, and I want to make sure I can help someone feel it too.

It would be awesome if you could help as well, by donating to help me reach my goal of $300.

Thank you to my Supporters
