Newcastle Loop via Armidale and Port Macquarie

A three-day motorcycle adventure with a mission to help kids facing cancer

Looking for a great excuse to explore the rugged beauty of Australia on a motorbike?

Set off from Newcastle with around 70 other riders through historic regional towns and grazing lands, to the stunning landscapes of Armidale and Port Macquarie.

Spend a night in Armidale, the main hub of the New England High Country. Surrounded by some of Australia’s richest pastoral lands, Armidale is also an ideal base for exploring the nearby national parks, all part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, making it a dream destination for motorbike riders. We then head off to explore Port Macquarie, the largest town of the Mid North Coast.

Choose between a Road or Adventure ride

With a choice between two different routes, participants can take in the scenery on a leisurely road cruise or head off the beaten track with the adventure option.

Both the Adventure and Road routes promise riders a taste of historic rural towns, valleys and villages in the Northern Tablelands and Mid North Coast regions.

How it works

Choose whether you tackle dirt or gravel roads on the Adventure route or join the Road riders. Both options offer spectacular scenery.

Your rego fee of $325 covers two-nights twin share accommodation, breakfast daily, decals and stickers for your bike, two shirts and a cap, fundraising support and full mechanical and logistical support on the event.

To participate, you need to raise a minimum of $1500 if you’re a rider, or $500 if you’re a pillion, by Day 1 of the event. We’re there to support you every step of the way with tips and tricks to ensure you meet your goal.

Whether you join as a Road rider or Adventure rider, you’ll need to ensure that your bike meets certain specs and is in good mechanical order.
