REGISTRATION
How do I register as a driver?
Register your truck online via this website. Have your credit card ready to pay your $12 registration fee. Then make a donation of $55 or more. This amount will show up as a donation on your fundraising page. Bonus – you can claim it back on your tax-return!
Passengers are welcome to register and fundraise so they can earn merchandise such as T-shirts and caps.

When is the latest I can register?
Truck registrations close on Monday, 2 October 2023 at 10am.
If you have not been able to register in time, please contact the Convoy Perth Events team via email, [email protected], and we may be able to accommodate a late registration.
Why do you need my vehicle registration details?
Your vehicle registration helps us to identify registered Convoy participants and reduces delays when managing vehicle arrival, parking spot allocation, Convoy departure and Lead Truck identification. It is in your own interest to provide us with your vehicle registration number to ensure you have an enjoyable experience on event day.
Can I register on the day?
No. Registering on the day is not possible. If you have not registered through our website prior to Monday, 2 October 2023 by 10am, you are unable to participate as a driver.
Can I register on behalf of another person?
No. All Convoy Perth participants need to register themselves via the webpage. During the registration process, you will have the possibility of creating a team page (if you are the first person of your team registering) or joining a team (if the team page already exists).
How many trucks can be in a team?
It usually takes at least two people to form a team but there is no upper limit for the number of team members.
TRUCKS & LICENSES
Can I participate with any type of truck?
No. Primary movers without trailers are accepted, as well as trucks such as cement mixers, and small-to-medium-sized trucks. If you wish to participate with anything bigger, please contact the Convoy Perth Events team via [email protected] to see if your vehicle is suitable for event participation. Please don’t just rock up on event day with a road train, mining truck, crane or otherwise oversized vehicle.
Please note: Your vehicle must comply with regulations and be legally allowed to be driven on roads and freeways.
What about minimum age and driver licence requirements for participants?
In order to participate as a vehicle driver in Convoy Perth, you must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the event. Additionally, you will require a full drivers licence relevant to your vehicle.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
How much does it cost to participate in Convoy Perth?
When registering as the driver of your truck, you commit to donate $55 to Camp Quality in addition to your $12 registration fee. Passengers who want the opportunity to earn merchandise will need to register and meet the minimum fundraising requirements.
Once registered, spread your fundraising page far and wide. The more you fundraise for Camp Quality, the more incentives you'll receive, such as shirts and caps.
Is there an entry fee for visitors and spectators?
No. The event can be attended free of charge and is not ticketed. Just rock up! However, we would love to receive a gold coin donation from you on the day. Please look out for the donation QR posters around the event venue.

What are the key timings for Convoy?
Please note that the times below are subject to change. Any last-minute changes to event timings will be communicated to all participants at the earliest possible time.

Can I watch Convoy Perth and cheer drivers on?
You certainly can, and we encourage you to do so!
Locate yourself at a safe spot (e.g. service road, footpath) and leave sufficient space between yourself and the road.
Cheer on the drivers, get creative and get out those pom-poms from the attic and, if you're in a vehicle, honk back!
Convoy Perth departs Perth Hockey Stadium at around 9am and will take about one to one-and-a-half hours to complete the route.

How long does it take for Convoy to return to the venue?
We anticipate that Convoy Perth will be on the road for about one to one-and-a-half hours but it is difficult to predict an accurate arrival time back at the venue.
Please allow some room for movement as Convoy length, traffic lights, road conditions, weather, etc will all influence Convoy Perth travel times.
Where do I park?
If you are a registered Convoy Perth driver or rider, our friendly traffic controllers will assist you with finding the right spot for your vehicle.
If you are an event visitor, you will be directed to the visitor car park. Please be prepared to walk a little from the visitor car park to the event venue.
If you require disability parking, please let the traffic controllers know and we will arrange for parking directly next to the venue.
CONVOY PERTH EXPERIENCE
Do I need to pay to visit Convoy Perth?
No. You can visit the event free of charge.
However, Convoy Perth participants need to be registered by Monday, 2 October 2023 by 10am.
You are welcome to make a donation to Camp Quality on the day via the QR codes posted around the venue.

Can I check out all the trucks?
Yes, please! You will not only get to see fancy, sparkly trucks. If you are lucky, you can check out a few other motorised gems.
What can I experience at the Convoy venue?
The venue will be packed with entertainment and experiences that will cater for adults and kids alike. Expect to find catering options on-site, as well as kids' rides, roving entertainment, live music, fundraising award ceremonies and, of course, lots of different trucks to look at.
Make sure you have some good old cash in your pockets, just in case.
Do you still run Convoy in bad weather?
Yes, we do. Rain and wind generally do not prevent the event from taking place. However, if weather is forecasted to be extreme or the weather becomes extreme on event day, we reserve the right to cancel or shut down activities, or the event altogether.
Will there be food and coffee vendors at Convoy Perth?
Yes. We will make sure you get your caffeine fix, as well as have food options to choose from to fill your belly.
Make sure you have some good old cash in your pockets, just in case.
What about toilets?
Yes, there are toilets at Perth Hockey Stadium.
Fundraising & donations
Is there a minimum fundraising amount?
In addition to your driver/rider registration fee of $12, you will need to make a donation of $55 (or more) to Camp Quality.
Bonus: you will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt for the amount that you choose to donate.
We welcome and strongly recommend you set yourself a personal fundraising goal with the intention to meet or exceed this ambition.
While setting an ambitious fundraising goal may appear hard to achieve at first, you will be surprised by how much you can raise with just a few ideas and actions.

Can I still fundraise during or after the event?
You sure can. Fundraising for the 2023 Convoy Perth event will close at midnight on Friday, 1 December 2023.
How do I become Lead Truck at Convoy Perth?
Whoever is the highest-fundraising individual truck by 6pm on Saturday, 7 October 2023 will have the honour of leading Camp Quality Convoy Perth. Second and third highest-fundraising trucks will fall in behind in those positions.

Can I make a donation on the day?
You can make a donation online or use the QR codes around the venue on the day to make a donation.
Check out the Convoy leaderboard to find out which truck is in the running to take pole position as Lead Truck.
The truck with the highest donations on their online fundraising page on the day before the event, will have the honour of leading Convoy Perth 2023.
Where does the money go?
The money raised from Camp Quality's Convoy helps brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer.
Our programs and services help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. We are there for kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling or parent, every step of the way: in hospital, at school, online, and away from it all at our camps and retreats.

Is there a Code of Conduct?
Yes. There is a Code of Conduct you need to agree to which forms part of the Terms & Conditions. It outlines Camp Quality’s expectations of every participant, staff member, volunteer, event visitor and service provider. We encourage you to read the Code of Conduct.

Are Convoy Perth participants covered by Camp Quality's Public Liability Insurance?
No. You need your own compulsory Third Party Insurance. In addition, you need to have either Third Party Property Damage OR Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.
