After the wettest July in Sydney on record, we have been advised that additional sections of the trail have been damaged and parts still remain closed.
Some of these areas formed part of Camp Quality’s contingency plans for an alternative route in the case that sections of the original trail may not able to be repaired in time for the new September date. Rain is forecast to continue throughout July and August prior to the event.
We are sorry this is the situation we find ourselves in and hope you understand our decision.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I transfer my fundraising and registration to Trek Sydney 2023?
We would love to have your participate in Trek Sydney 2023, however as we have not secured a date and permits, we are unable to transfer you.
You can continue supporting Camp Quality and keep up your fitness by transferring your registration to Big Walk for Little Kids 2022. You'll automatically get an entry in the draw to WIN a luxury weekend away at Bannisters Mollymook* plus you'll receive a special Camp Quality Big Walk water bottle.
What if I don’t want to participate in Big Walk for Little Kids?
There are a few options for you: a) Receive a full refund of your registration fee or, b) Transfer your $150 registration fee to a tax-deductible donation. c) Do nothing. Your fundraising page will remain active on the Trek website until 30 September, 2022.
Can I get a refund of my fundraising?
Fundraising is non-refundable. As soon as you receive funds on your fundraising page, Camp Quality puts that money to work bringing positivity, fun and laughter to kids and families facing a scary cancer diagnosis.
This is also why our Event Terms and Conditions (Event Cancellation point 8), state that your fundraising is non-refundable.

How can I enter the draw to WIN the luxury weekend away?
- To qualify for one ticket into the draw, you just need to let us know via the RSVP form, or via email that you woud like us to transfer your registration to Big Walk for Little Kids.
- You will be automatically added to Team ‘Trekkers take on Big Walk’.
- Trek participants who choose to transfer their $150 registration fee to a donation, will receive a total of 3 x entries into the draw.
- You can also get bonus entries. Every time you receive $55 in a single donation on your new Big Walk for Little Kids fundraising page between 25th July and 30th September, 2022, you will get an entry into the draw
- Single donations for amounts of more than $55 will receive an additional entry for each multiple of $55 received. For example, for a donation of $55-109, a participant and donor will each receive 1 x entry into the draw. A donation of $110-164, a participant and donor will each receive 2 x entries into the draw, a donation of $164-$219 a participant and donor will each receive 3 x entries into the draw, and so . Optional donor contributions to help cover fees are excluded from calculations and entry.

Yes. All of the money you have raised from your Trek page will transfer over to your new Big Walk for Little Kids page. You'll be part of Team 'Trekkers take on Big Walk'.
