CANCER STOLE LEO'S
CHILDHOOD.

Imagine the devastation a family must feel, then, when their best laid plans for a joyful Christmas are torn apart by a cancer diagnosis. That was the reality for little Leo and his family, when he was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma on Christmas Eve.
“It was a moment of pure shock. Knowing it was Christmas Eve, I knew there was a lot that we had to think through. But initially we just had to pack our bags and get to the hospital” Leo’s mum, Jennifer, recalls.
Like many kids diagnosed with cancer, Leo has spent more time in hospital than any child should. His childhood has been consumed by chemotherapy, hospitals and isolation.
Thanks to support from generous people like you, Camp Quality we’re able to give Leo, Jennifer and their whole family quality time together, and put some fun and laughter back into the kids’ lives!
“It was amazing just to have support to get out, because we hadn't actually done anything like that since before Leo was sick. It was so amazing to sit there and watch my two sons together outside in the sun, around other kids; just being happy and free and enjoying being brothers.”
